Borrego EPC designed and built a 2.5 MW ground mount solar project on a 20 acre parcel in Petaluma, located in Sonoma County. The site was formerly used for sheep grazing, and the zoning for the solar project now allows both uses. The project is expected to generate 4,698,755 kWh of clean electricity annually as part of the Sonoma Clean Power Feed in Tarriff program, providing enough energy to power 330 homes and offsetting 3330 metric tons of carbon emissions each year.
